"You're doing great, Roman," Victor said encouragingly, standing behind Roman and watching the boy he had indicated specifically, his eyes narrowing a little.
Edward was confused, suspicious, very much not in the mood for any of this, but he turned to look at these two strangers anyway, sizing them up. Huh. "...I like it over here."
"So? I wanna talk to you, come here. I said please. The fuck is your problem?" Why was this kid being such an ass? He was asking nicely and yet here he was, fucking sassing him. "I'm being real nice right now. You want me to be more a dick, eh?"
"No, he just doesn't know you and you're yelling." Lucius very calmly interjected, standing beside Edward to try and back him up. "It's not very polite to yell."
"Roman." Victor put his hands on Roman's shoulders, massaging them gently. "They don't know you yet. You're going to scare them off."
Seemed like a good guess, given the way glasses guy had tensed up. "Just take a deep breath. Let's play nice."
Victor straightened up and smiled, friendly enough. "We have money. Do you boys like pizza?"
"...they do have money." Edward muttered it under his breath, loud enough for Oswald and Lucius to hear. "Their clothes are brand." He could tell. "New shoes too."
"I noticed but we should be cautious. We are clearly an experiment to them." Lucius pointed out as he stood beside Edward, watching the two strange kids who wanted to treat them. Why? For what reason? Seemed too easy.
"Rich is good." Oswald muttered as he pushed Edward and Lucius forward ... though he did stay hiding behind them.
Roman bounced impatiently and whined. "Why are they taking so long? Why do they act like this? Victor! Do something!"
"Just wait, Roman. They'll come through." Evidently, they were already coming closer. He looked them all over, easily determined that he'd be able to take them all individually or even all together, should he have to. Then he took out his wallet. "I'll pay you, if you're nice."
"...we are not whores." Edward just wanted to make that very clear.
"Duh. Most of you aren't hot enough." Just saying. "I'm Victor Zsasz. This is Roman Sionis."
Edward's eyes had narrowed. He recognised those names. They really did have money. A lot of it. "You are slumming here?"
"Just gonna go eat some pizza. You all like pizza?"
"Without onions." He supposed they could play along. He was hungry.
"We got bored so we wanted to come here. Well, Victor did. I didn't. But I have stupid missions I have to complete to tick off some boxes so I need new friends." He was supposed to tell his therapist about at least one new friend and he wanted one of these boys. Ideally the dorky looking one. "I was expecting this to be easier. You're very awkward but we will still buy you pizza."
"Edward, be cautious." Lucius reminded him as he kept back, hands in his pockets, not giving anything to Victor or Roman. "We will make no promises to stick around."
"Well, that's rude." Roman pouted. "You're bad friends already."
