He looked around and enjoyed how bright and clean it was, he didn't have to worry about the hygiene standards here. "There is a big difference between being alone and being lonely. You can be alone and be quite content, I am often. Or you can be in a room full of people and feel entirely alone."

He had experienced that a few times in his life, being in a room with people he should be able to connect with and feeling nothing but a yearning to leave.
