It wasn't that she was disappointed or anything that Edward thought that, it was nice to hear him say she was beautiful but she just had too many thoughts in her head to process them any more. "One day all the boys were my friend and they found the idea of me even touching them icky. These days, all the boys seem to want stuff, you know?"

Lee bit her lip and looked at Edward, feeling her heart race weirdly. "I wish I knew what I wanted. I think it's hard to know, isn't it?" She looked away, not sure how to talk to Edward without scaring him off. "Right now, I just want ice cream with Ed."
